Brief History of Agency of Cooperation and Public Relations
Since 2000, international cooperation had been handled by some lectures who were joined BKLN (Board for International Affairs). At that time, it was still under IKIP Singaraja. After UNDIKSHA was established in 2006, Subdivision of Cooperation was established under Division of Academic and Partnership in 2008. It worked for conducting cooperation with national and international partners which were helped by some lecturers.
International Office and Partnership (IOP) actually was started in 2012, at that time it was called as International Office (IO). It was established under the program called PKKUI promoted by Directorate of Institutional and Cooperation under Directorate General of Higher Education. In its establishment, IO had some special parts in order to help Vice Rector IV for Planning and Cooperation Affairs in lobbying, promoting, bridging, opening way and negotiating the cooperation with the partners. After the cooperation programs had been discussed and approved, and then Subdivision of Cooperation would execute the program based on the approval from Vice Rector IV.
The International Office was led by three different names started from 2012 until 2017. Firstly, in 2012 The International Office was led by Dr. I Gede Budasi, M.Ed. and his secretary Dr. I.G.N.A. Suryaputra, M.Sc. They were assisted by 2 teams, such as International Affairs (2 lecturers) and National Affairs (2 lecturers). This structure was stood until 2014 and the new was replacing the old leader. In 2015, the head of International Office belonged to Trianasari, Ph,D. with her secretary Dr. I.G.N.A. Suryaputra, M.Sc. Therefore, in 2016 The International Office (IO) was officially changed into The International Office and Partnership (IOP) which was regulated based on the OTK (Regulation of Organization and Administration). Since the change of the regulation, in 2016, the structure of IOP was also changed. In this period, the structures of IOP were The Head of IOP and secretary, Coordinator of International Affairs and Coordinator of National Affairs which were assisted by 4 members for each. In this year, IOP was led by Trianasari, Ph.D with her secretary Nyoman Karina Wedhanti, M.Pd. Therefore, The International Affairs team was coordinated by Dr. Ni Komang Arie Suwastini, M.Hum. and the team members were 1) GAP. Suprianti, S.Pd., M.Pd., 2) Gede Mahendra Darmawiguna, S.Kom., M.Sc., 3) I Wayan Mudianta, S.Pd., M.Phil., Ph.D., and 4) I Putu Ngurah Wage Myartawan, S.Pd., M.Pd. Meanwhile, The National Affairs was coordinated by Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Mardana, M.Si. and the team members were 1) Drs. I Putu Panca Adi, M.Pd., 2) I Made Agus Wirawan, S.Kom., M.Cs., 3) Dr. I Putu Suka Arsa, S.T, M.T. and 4) Drs. Ketut Sudiatmaka, M.Si. Since 2017, the Head of International Office was changed and it was led by Dr. Ni Made Ratminingsih, M.A. who works with the same previous team. In January 2020, the Head of International Office was changed and it was led by Ni Nengah Suartini, S.S., M.A., Ph.D. with the secretary Made Windu Antara Kesiman, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. Finally, in August 2020, the International Office was changed into the Agency of Cooperation and Public Relations, and it was led by Prof.Dr. Anak Agung Istri Ngr. Marhaeni, M.A. with the secretary Made Windu Antara Kesiman, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D. The Agency of Cooperation and Public Relations consisted of 3 (three) centers: Center for International Cooperation, Center for National Cooperation, and Center for Industrial Cooperation.
From March 2021, the Agency of Cooperation and Public Relations is led by Made Windu Antara Kesiman, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D with the secretary Putu Ayu Prabawati Sudana, S.Pd., M.Hum. The Agency of Cooperation and Public Relations now consists of 4 (four) centers: Center for International Cooperation, Center for National Cooperation, Center for Industrial Cooperation, and Center for Public Relations and Media.
